To some people, the Super Bowl is about football, office pools and stuffing your face. To Billy on the Street’s excitable host Billy Eichner, the Big Game took a back seat to the Bigger Halftime Show with Madonna, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., LMFAO and Cee Lo. When Conan O’Brien needed a special correspondent to send to the Super Bowl, he knew Billy was the only man for the job. In a piece that aired on Conan last night, Billy had to make it past the first half (“We just gotta get through some of this first,” he says about the biggest sporting event of the year) but finally got to the real Super Bowl highlight: Madonna’s 13-minute spectacle.
So what happens when you take the world’s biggest Madonna fan and set him loose among football fanatics, cheerleaders and NFL players? Madness, confusion, bemusement and, of course, a lot of laughter.
