Cults was an anonymous New York indie pop band when they put their first three songs up on Bandcamp about two years ago. Those songs, including the massive blog hit "Go Outside," got the attention of the independent music press and rocketed the band to a contract with Columbia records, who released their widely loved self-titled debut last year. Get to know Cults, and hear about their first year as young rock stars, including advice from director Jim Jarmusch about how to treat Lyme disease, in the above interview. And just in case you're not convinced you should get their album right this second, give them 60 seconds to tell you why you should in the video below.
