The GZA visited the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, aka the brain-farm M.I.T., where professors dropped some science on him. Apparently he was there doing research for his new album, but it seems like he just really likes plants. "I'm always touching plants, and feeling them, and just vibing with them. Bryan "Birdman" WIlliams founded Cash Money Records with his brother, Ronald "Slim" Williams, in 1991, and it's since grown into a massive rap powerhouse as the home of artists including Lil' Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. They just signed Limp Bizkit and now Birdman says he hopes to put out 16 albums this year, including gospel and country albums. [XXL]

Ace Frehley used a 1974 Cherry Sunburst Gibson Les Paul during KISS' rise to stardom, and now the guitar company is giving something back to Ace Frehley: his own limited-edition guitar, called the Ace Frehley "Budokan" Les Paul Custom. R&B: Erykah Badu Can't Enter Malaysia Because of Temp Tattoo
Malaysia, a Muslim-majority county, has banned Erykah Badu from continuing with her scheduled performance there tomorrow because of her temporary tattoo of the word Allah. Islamic policy officials decided to prevent Badu's gig because the body art was "an insult to Islam and a very serious offense." Man, they should see her videos! [Spinner]

HARD ROCK: Slash Makes Commercial With Betty White
Slash and Betty White got together to film a commercial for the Los Angeles Zoo's new attraction, which features "60 species of weird, rare and endangered amphibians, invertebrates and reptiles."
