Aerosmith Unveil Summer "Global Warming" Tour
After spats of band in-fighting and rehab stints that threatened the very existence of Aerosmith, the band are officially ready to rock your local arena or amphitheater this summer. Yes, indeed, Aerosmith are going on tour. And it has perhaps the worst name imaginable: "The Global Warming Tour." Um...
The trek will take the 42-year-old quintet from Minneapolis, where they kick things off on June 16, to Tacoma, Wash., where they cap the 18-date tour on August 8. They'll rock all corners of the nation, from Atlanta to Chicago to Los Angeles, along the way.
"The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your ass and make out with yur [sic] mothers," singer Steven Tyler said. Bassist Tom Hamilton added, "We're going to break out the classics, the hits and maybe even some of the new ones we've been banging out in the studio."
Rock! Check out the complete tour dates at Aerosmith's website.
