R&B: Producer Claims Credit for Weeknd Songs
Toronto R&B singer The Weeknd, a protege of Drake, came out of left field last year and dropped three wildly successful mixtapes. Now, a producer named Jeremy Rose is coming forward to claim credit for The Weeknd's ideas.

Here's what he had to say: "I asked him if he wanted to work on something-- I had this idea for a dark R&B project... Abel [Tesfaye, The Weeknd] seemed to suit the project... When I met him I heard some of the stuff that he was doing. It was called The Noise... They were a straight kind of R&B, just really light… And I was just like, 'Aw, f**k that s**t. No man, let's talk about, f****n' and getting too high and trying to f**k bitches and it not working out. Let's get really grimy about it.'" Damn. Wonder what The Weeknd will say about this.
