Well, well, well. Cross your fingers and hope this one actually comes true: Lana Del Rey and Tyler, the Creator, the smart-ass lead man of Los Angeles rap collective Odd Future, are tentatively planning a collaboration. Yowza.
The two took to Twitter recently to express their mutual love for each other's music, and make plans to work together. First, Tyler wrote (with the first letter of every word in caps to express his enthusiasm, presumably): "Just Found Out Lana Del Ray Wanted To Work With Me. Had No Idea. If Your [sic] Reading This Im Down, I Have Pretty Instrumentals."
Who doesn't love "pretty instrumentals," right? Right. Especially Ms. Del Rey.
The "Video Games" singer hit Tyler back shortly after, writing, "You're Number 1."
Awwwwwwwwwww. Mutual musician love! I wonder how Del Rey's (reported) new boyfriend Marilyn Manson feels about having to compete with a kid half his age...?
Who knows. But let's hope this collabo actually materializes. Are you guys excited and curious for this team-up? Tell us in the comments below.
