Usher Unveils "Looking For Myself" Details
Look at how serious that guy is above. That dim lighting. That "Oh, I didn't see you come in" head turn. That come-hither, "Hey baby" stare. That can only mean one thing, girl: Usher's got something important to tell you.
The R&B singer has set June 12 for the release of his seventh studio album Looking For Myself. We've already seen the video for the first single "Climax," which Usher swears is not a sexual reference (brought to you by the same people who said Madonna's "Has anyone seen Molly?" question at Ultra Music Fest was not a drug reference). But now, word from Usher's camp is that producer/songwriters Salaam Remi, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin and Max Martin will be featured on Myself alongside the "Climax"-producing Diplo.
The singer's last album, Raymond v. Raymond, was released in 2010, but Usher had widespread success recently as the lead singer of David Guetta’s "Without You." Thesis statement for anyone interviewing the singer: With 1997's My Way and 2008's Here I Stand, Looking For Myself completes the Usher's first-person album title trilogy. Discuss.
