British folk-rock band Mumford & Sons serenaded President Obama in a tent on the South Lawn of the White House last night.

The harmonious indie quarter played “Awake My Soul,” among other songs, which you can listen to above. Mumford & Sons were Prime Minister David Cameron’s pick to give Obama a sense of what’s going on musically in the UK right now, while Obama selected John Legend to represent American R&B at last night's State Dinner.

Do you think Cameron picked the right band to rep Britain at the White House last night? Or should he have selected another artist, say, the Cribs? Or maybe Babyshambles? Tell us your suggestion below.
