Genre-hopping singer/songwriter Nelly Furtado is returning to the world of Timbaland-styled R&B with her first English-language album in six years.
Last time around she gave us two of 2006's ubiquitous hits—"Maneater" and "Promiscuous"—and this lead single from The Spirit Indestructible seems poised to follow in those crossover hit footsteps. "Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)" combines her distinctive delivery, a respectable urban dancefloor beat and lyrics that kinda-sorta make sense.
