Listen to Feist and Mastodon Cover Each Other for Record Store Day
Record Store Day is tomorrow (April 21), with scores of limited edition tracks and bizarre collaborations. One of the most anticipated, though, was Feistodon, in which orchestral pop star Feist and growling metal band Mastodon cover each other's songs on a split 7". So what does it sound like? Pretty much exactly what you'd expect to hear, which is not a bad thing whatsoever. Listen below, with the originals included if you want to do a side-by-side comparison.
