On February 23, Nas celebrated the completion of his tenth album Life is Good via a Twitter message stating "We celebrating my LP being WRAPPED!!!!!" Now, the rapper has set July 17 as the release date for Life is Good, and, based on historical rap releases, there is no way this date could possibly change or be pushed back.

Nas took to his Twitter page to announce the release:

In March, the rapper spoke to MTV News about the album, stating, "It's been a long time, it's been years since I released a solo studio album, so this record is everything. This is everything that I've got to say—I guess you've got to live a little and you put that in your music, so it's coming from my life."

So far, we've heard "Nasty" and "The Don," two confirmed tracks from the upcoming album. Listen to both below and begin your countdown.
