Although a Whitney Houston biopic hasn't even been officially announced, stars are lining up to play the lead role in the film, which Clive Davis is supposedly producing.

Days after Robin Thicke volunteered his wife Paula Patton for the role, Rihanna stepped forward and said that she now wants to play the troubled pop star as well.

She told The Press Association, "That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. That’s a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job."

Rihanna also credited Whitney for being her inspiration to get into music: "My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song — ‘I Will Always Love You.' It was really inspiring and it made me develop a passion for music, so really she’s partly responsible for me being here in this industry.”

Wow. Who do you think would be good for the role of Houston? Let us know in the comments!
