Watch Steven Tyler Shill for Burger King in New Commercial

Aerosmith frontman, struggling to get by on $10 million "American Idol" payday, goes commercial

  /  April 27, 2012

Crispy chicken! Fresh lettuce! Three cheeses!

Sorry. I still haven't gotten Mary J. Blige's, uh, curious ad for Burger King out of my head, but there's a new contender for the crown. As teased by Burger King earlier this year, Steven Tyler stars in an ad of his own. And while it's not as cringeworthy as the Queen of Hip Hop Soul's ad (and probably won't inspire the same round of apologies), it's still worth a look.

Watch the Aerosmith frontman make bizarre hand gestures while playing the harmonica, woo two Burger King employees with his classic "Kung pao or jalapeno" punchline and fail to understand the complex machinations of a drive-thru headset.

Blige's title for "Most awkward ad of the year" remains secure, but take a look at Tyler's ad above.
