Lana Del Rey's Born to Die is perhaps the most hyped album of the year so far, but for many, including Pitchfork, it didn't exactly deliver. If you were among those who were disappointed, well, give the above video a chance. It's Duke University's all-girl a cappella group singing the title track of Del Rey's album, and they sound like angels. It just might have you reconsidering the original track.
It's a great and unique performance, except for the woman on the left beatboxing, who I think we could have done without. The rest of Duke University's all-female a cappella choir kill it, and the lead singer sounds fantastic. Watch the video and let us know what you think in the comments!
