Remember when you had to wait for a show to actually appear on your television to fully dissect, critique and judge its merits? Oh, what primitive times.
Audio footage has leaked (via Idolator) of Britney Spears, the new $15 million woman, judging select contestants on the upcoming "The X Factor," and, as we all expected, she can be both proud mama and Simon Cowell-esque tyrant.
"I felt like I was listening to Alvin & the Chipmunks," Spears said of one contestant in the clip below, which is presumably an insult, though coming from eternal girl-child Spears, you never know.
While Spears does tell one contestant, "I wish you could wake me up in the morning....singing!," we'd much rather hear the "Ohnoyoudint" Spears, as on the clip below, in which Spears comes to co-judge Demi Lovato's defense after one contestant slammed Lovato. “I want to know who let you on stage,” Spears said. “I feel uncomfortable with you even staring at me.” This season's going to be brutal.
