Following the celebrity birth playbook to a tee, Jessica Simpson shared photos of her daughter Maxwell Drew to People magazine, with mom smiling on the cover and baby shutting her eyes to presumably avoid the paparazzi onslaught that will follow her for years to come.

"Life has completely changed," the singer told People. "From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!" How the magazine knew that Simpson said that with an exclamation point at the end is beyond us, but we'll move on.
