Justin Bieber Releases New Track "Die In Your Arms"
While Beliebers (and hip hop fans that won't admit to being Beliebers) continue to enjoy Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" remix, the singer already released "Die in Your Arms," the second single from his upcoming album Believe.
Scooter Braun, the singer's manager, described it as having an "Old School Jackson 5 vibe." And while we're normally wary of anything a manager says about their own artist, dude is pretty spot-on. Produced by Rodney Jerkins, the man behind Lady Gaga's "Telephone" and Beyoncé's "Deja Vu," the mid-tempo track is anchored by a hip hop beat and bouncy synths reminiscent of, fine, Jackson 5 and Smokey Robinson.
Lyrically, the track isn't exactly breaking new ground, as Bieber sings, "Honestly the truth is/If i could just die in your arms/I wouldn't mind/'Cause every time you touch me/I just die in your arms/Oh it feels so right/So baby baby please don't stop girl." But yeah, if you want to know what Biebs sounds like embracing his inner Motown, check out the track above. The adultification of Justin Bieber continues.
