FUSE TV - Kanye West Producer Confirms "Watch the Throne 2"
Producer, engineer and longtime Kanye West collaborator Mike Dean co-produced half of the Jay-Z/West album Watch the Throne, so if anyone is going to break any news besides the rappers, it's him. Speaking to Quiet Lunch (via Hiphopdx), Dean confirmed that a sequel will definitely happen, though couldn't disclose any specific timing.
"I'm working on the G.O.O.D. Music album of course, " Dean said. "[I'm working on] Watch the Throne 2, which is not started yet, but that's coming."
Rappers have never been particularly good with timing and release dates, so don't be too shocked at the lack of details. But yeah, I guess Throne fans can start salivating and begin the countdown.
