Rebecca Black Endorses a Mexican Presidential Candidate

It's hard to know if the 14-year-old's support will impact Enrique Peña Nieto's presidential hopes

Rebecca Black, the 14-year-old singer responsible for what many consider to be the most ridiculous, and possibly the worst, song of all time ("Friday"), has just done something a bit unexpected: she endorsed Mexican presidential candidate Enrique Peña Nieto.

In an endorsement speech posted to YouTube (watch below), Black says nothing about Nieto's policies, but mentions that she believes in him very strongly as a presidential candidate. Convincing! She adds that she has a lot of family in Mexico and feels that she doesn't have "much support" in the United States, which seems wrong because millions of people had her song stuck in their heads for months and now secretly love her.

Check out the endorsement below, in which Black is classified as a "cantante juvenil" (young singer), and then let us know what you think in the comments!
