Okay, 50 Cent fans, you can stop holding your breath: According to the rapper's spokesperson, Fif is "doing fine" following a car accident early Tuesday morning (June 26), when the G-Unit MC's bullet-proof SUV was rear-ended by a Mack truck. According to photos at, the rapper was placed on a stretcher and rushed to the hospital wearing a neck brace.

“He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries,” the spokesperson told ABC News. “He was released this morning and is doing fine.” 

50 Cent was driving on New York City's Long Island Expressway at roughly 3:00 A.M. when the Mack truck's "load shifted" and the driver lost control of the vehicle. It then slammed into the back of the Fifmobile, nearly flipping it over. 

This is the rapper's second time in the hospital in the last month, following his treatment for intestinal blockage. His new album 5: Murder By Numbers drops July 3 on iTunes.
