Former Pearl Jam Management Exec Accused of Stealing from Band
Rickey Charles Goodrich, the former chief financial officer for Pearl Jam's management company, is being charged with 33 counts of theft, the Associated Press reports. Charges filed earlier this month in the band's hometown of Seattle allege that Goodrich cheated the alt-rock band out of $380,000 from 2006 until he was fired in September 2010. He allegedly transferred money from company accounts to pay debts and personal expenses, including family vacations and wine.
Goodrich is expected to enter a plea at his June 28 arraignment in King County Superior Court.
