Fleetwood Mac, the inimitable and legendary British-American rock band (and the only act capable of bringing my dad to tears—long story), is getting a new tribute album. After over 45 years in the music industry, some of our favorite acts have joined forces to cover 17 of the Mac's biggest hits (and a few lesser known tracks) on Just Tell Me That You Want Me, out August 14 via Starbucks Label Hear Music/Concord.

Best Coast put their signature surf rock spin on the 1975 classic "Rhiannon," while The New Pornographers add a bit of powerpop to Tusk's "Think About Me" (listen to the track at Pitchfork). The Kills even do a rendition of the Mac's 1977 Rumours gem "Dreams"—we can't wait to hear that one. Other contributors include Lykke Li, Washed Out, MGMT and more. The album also includes a few special collaborations, Shudder to Think's Craig Wedren and St. Vincent among them.

The covers LP is co-produced by film and television music supervisor Randall Poster. "The story of Fleetwood Mac has always intrigued me," Poster said in a statement. "And we've tried to tell that story through the arc of music we've recorded."
