Update: Funkmaster Flex took to his Twitter to announce that none other than Nicki Minaj will appear on his show tonight (June 4) at 7p/6c. Beef-squashing? Nuclear meltdown? We're as curious as you are.

By now, you probably heard about New York radio DJ Peter Rosenberg's Nicki Minaj slam at the annual concert Summer Jam, in which Rosenberg told the crowd, "I know there's some chicks here waiting to sing 'Starships' later. I'm not talking to y'all right now. F**k that bulls**t. I'm here to talk about real hip hop s**t." Lil Wayne was so devastated by the slam, he pulled the Young Money roster from the show and hopped on a private jet to drown out his sorrows at a Miami club.

Now video has popped up of fellow Hot 97 DJ and perpetual screamer Funkmaster Flex defending Rosenberg and throwing more shots at Nicki. "We ain't f**kin' with commercial rappers no more," boasted Flex. "If you lost the f**kin' streets, it's your fault. If you don't go gold, it's your fault. I'm dedicated to tearing you down." Check out the full video above, but realize that the people that control the money at Hot 97 will most certainly continue f**king with commercial rappers.

Hot 97 competitor Power 105 wasted no time going after the station, as DJs Angela Yee and DJ Envy gave the station their "Donkey of the Day" award. Check out their full response below.
