Amy Winehouse's mother, Janis Winehouse, has opened up about life after her daughter's tragic and untimely passing last year. In a recent interview with Hello Magazine [via Press Party], Janis revealed that she believes her daughter has come back to earth as a butterfly, and she makes quite the case for it.

Janis said, "I'm pretty sure she has come back as a butterfly because she would love the freedom of flying. [At her funeral] Mitch [Winehouse, Amy's father] was giving the eulogy and a butterfly flew in...The butterfly settled on Kelly Osbourne, then flew around Mitch." Kelly Osbourne was a long-time friend of the "Rehab" singer, and Amy and her father were known to have a very close relationship.

So has Amy returned to earth reincarnated as a butterfly? Or has she come back as something else? Tell us what you think in the comments.

June 23: Jack White's Really Rooting for the Home Team

Were the Cubs down or something? Jack White was spotted at last night's baseball game between the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres looking absolutely miserable. The Cubbies pulled out a 6-0 win over San Diego last night so the White Stripe ideally should have been enjoying himself in spite of the team's current 41-57 record.
