Blur Launch Interactive Career Timeline
I must really like you people to be writing about the release of Blur's new, massively detailed interactive career timeline instead of playing on the site for hours. You've already heard the band's two new tracks, but to celebrate the July 31 release of the group's box set Blur 21, the UK quartet revisit their career with a new site based on the London tube map design.
The site is divided into eight sections of the band's career, including music, film, live and cultural, the latter detailing various pop culture and historical events since the band's formation. Play around on the site a bit to find artwork, videos and lyrics to many of the band's hits.
Blur 21 will feature more than five hours of unreleased material, including 65 previously unreleased tracks, three DVDs, a collector’s edition book and a 7-inch vinyl featuring a track recorded under the band's original name, Seymour.
