Illustrator Kevin Tong on Creating Band Art for Black Keys, Bon Iver

Cool job alert: Illustrator Kevin Tong is the L.A.-based artist responsible for some of the coolest band art we've seen in a minute, and he even gets paid to make it!

Tong's created images for Black Keys, Bon Iver, the Shins, Mogwai and Beck to name a few. When it comes to the inspiration for his work, Tong isn't too literal: "I did a Bon Iver poster with an overturned car. There's nothing in Bon Iver about an overturned car but it's this shocking and sad image... It's more the feeling of the music that I try to go for." Well played, Tong (especially considering your prints bring in the big bucks on eBay).
