Terrible, terrible news: Usher's stepson has died following the critical injuries he sustained as a result of a watercraft accident on July 6. He was taken off life support Saturday morning and passed away, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Kile Glover—the son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster—was riding an inner tube with a 15-year-old girl on a Georgia lake when a jet ski collided with them. Authorities said he took "the brunt of the force." Glover and the girl were airlifted to a hospital 40 miles away, although he was reportedly unresponsive when found at the scene.

The incident is currently under investigation. Usher and Foster were in the midst of a contentious child custody battle over the two children they have together before this tragedy.
