BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND - NOVEMBER 06: Brian May of Queen and Adam Lambert perform onstage during the MTV Europe Music Awa

Adam Lambert didn't disappoint as he kicked of his mini tour with Queen this weekend at Independence Square in Kiev, Ukraine. The band performed a two-hour set as part of a joint concert with Elton John to benefit the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation.

Apparently Adam was so good that he made legendary Queen guitarist Brian May forget how to play. May shared on his website after the show, "For a first was a good first outing...I was at times quite mesmerised [sic] by what Adam was doing and sometimes forgot to play!! Ha ha." High praise from someone who performed with Freddie Mercury on a regular basis.
