The more we learn about the intricacies of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's relationship, the more we congratulate ourselves for imagining it accurately. Case in point: Kanye told Kim to "clean out her closet" under the condition that he would provide her with a whole new wardrobe. Because Kim Kardashian, a girl who gets designer clothes sent to her for free on a daily basis in the hopes that she'll be photographed in them, definitely needs a helping hand in the closet department. (Also, is now an appropriate time to bust out some Gender and Women Studies 101? Let me know.)
In a clip from an upcoming episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," we encounter Kim in the middle of a near breakdown as thousands of dollars worth of her designer clothes are being tossed while even more thousands of dollars worth of designer clothes (curated by Kanye—she must remain his "Perfect B*tch" after all) hang on racks around the perimeter of her room. Kim is seen trying on outfit after outfit, and even makes a (very rare) self-effacing comment about her body: "Wouldn't my boobs look so much better if they looked like this," Kim asks, as she presses her breasts together. "No," Kanye reassures her, "Because I like natural-looking. Because I grew up on '80s... magazines."
As Kim's personal tailor continues to custom-fit Kim into every garment that Kanye brought for her, Kanye cheers Kim on as she ventures on into a new, more eye-opening place: "I think Kanye has definitely given me a push to want to see more that's out there in the world. So I think that's, like, a really good thing." Like, totally. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to paying off my Kohl's credit card.
Watch Kanye West throw out all of Kim Kardashian's clothes.
What kind of time warp?! '90s (and early 2000s) rock icons Fred Durst, Scott Weiland and Mark McGrath get photobombed by '70s icon Wayne Newton, aka Mr. Las Vegas. This should be all these guys' Christmas cards.
