Porter Robinson Made His Mom Cry

Just before the weather turned at Lollapalooza and all the concertgoers in Chicago's Grant Park were evacuated due to incoming thunder storms, Fuse caught up with Porter Robinson backstage to chat about when, exactly, the artist know for his singles and EPs is going to release a full album: "I want to keep the standard of quality really high," he explains. "I just don't have enough music for an album right now. I tour too much." But he adds, "I'm taking some serious time off. I just built a home studio so there's more [music] on the way."

He also dished on his new music video for "Language"; it's "weird" and "ethereal," he says, and it made his mom sob. "My mom watched it and she cried. I was like, 'Mission accomplished.' That's what I wanted. I wanted to give them goose bumps and make people have feelings."

During in the interview, Robinson's buddy DJ Zedd dropped by to say hi and give some high fives. For more on his new album and video, watch the clip above, and to hear about his friendship with Skrillex and more, watch the clip below.
