The Shins on Aimee Mann Collabo, New Music & More at Lollapalooza

It's Lollapalooza time! In case you couldn't get to Chicago's Grant Park to experience it IRL, stay tuned with Fuse.tv all weekend as we bring you exclusive interviews with Lolla artists and yet one more reason to stay on the internet.

We bumped into the Shins frontman James Mercer, who talked about where the band gets some of their album art inspiration, working with Aimee Mann and new Flake Music (Mercer's previous band before he started the Shins): "Marty [Crandall], Neal [Langford] and I are gonna get together in September and try and finally sort out every track we want on the comp and then we'll be pretty close to having it mastered...It'll probably be middle to end of next year [when it releases]."
