Yelawolf Might Bring Out Travis Barker for His West Coast Tour Dates

When Fuse's Esteban Serrano chopped it up with Yelawolf and his Psycho White EP collaborator Travis Barker at Rock the Bells, we learned the Southern rapper might the bring the blink-182 drummer onstage for the California dates of his Slumerican Tour.

"Maybe I can get Travis to come out on the West Coast if he's around, do some more Psycho White sh-t," Yela says. Barker nods in casual agreement, which isn't exactly a guarantee, but it seems like a distinct possibility that anyone seeing Yelawolf in Cali might get treated to a surprise appearance from Blink's sticksman.

Yelawolf also admits that he and Big K.R.I.T. have been "procrastinating" on their Country Cousins collaborative project. "I think because it was an Internet rumor [first] and we didn't come up with the idea ourselves, we've procrastinated on getting it done so long. Ironically—we're both from the South—I met him in Denmark or Switzerland. I saw him backstage and was like, 'Hey man, we should probably knock this out.' People keep asking about it. I'll be trying to put that together with him until the end of the year."

Still, fans clamoring for Country Cousins to finally come together shouldn't expect it anytime soon. "Obviously right now the priority project is Psycho White and the Slumerican Tour and then onto Trunk Muzik Returns, [which] will be coming out in 2013."

So the K.R.I.T. collabo will happen, but it's not at the top of his creative "to do" list. For the full interview with Yelawolf and Barker, watch the video above.
