There's an old joke that goes:

Q: What do you call someone who hangs around with musicians?
A: A drummer.

The backbeat masters have long been the butt of jokes, but the best ones—Ringo Starr, Questlove, Dave Grohl—have become musical icons. Oh. And extremely, extremely rich. Celebritynetworth.com released their list of the 30 Richest Drummers, factoring in "salaries, real estate holdings, divorces, record sales, royalties and endorsements." Ringo tops the list (natch), followed by Phil Collins, Grohl, the Eagles' Don Henley and Metallica's Lars Ulrich. In total, the men on this list have a combined $2.66 billion dollars. But try to ignore that absurd number and just enjoy their musical contributions below in our Richest Drummers Playlist.
