Vampire Weekend, Wyclef Jean, Bruno Mars on New Major Lazer Album
Major Lazer's second album Free the Universe will drop November 6, with a fall tour happening in tandem. Following up 2009's Guns Don't Kill People...Lazers Do, the record will host a variety of names both big and surprising, including Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Wyclef Jean, Dirty Projectors' Amber Coffman, Shaggy, Tyga and Bruno Mars.
Diplo is mostly running solo with Major Lazer, although his co-founder Switch remains involved in some capacity. Alongside Ariel Reichtshaid and Dre Skull, Diplo recently produced Snoop Dogg/Snoop Lion's entire new reggae album under the Major Lazer banner.
