Kelly Clarkson stepped out of character for one song last week at Detroit’s DTE Energy Music Theatre when she covered hometown hero Eminem’s"Lose Yourself." The American Idol champ really committed to her temporary role as Marshall Mathers, pulling a hoodie over her eyes (just like the movie 8 Mile!) and saying, "From Texas to thug, y’all." She then told the crowd, "If this sucks, you better still come to my shows." As it turns out, she needn't worry about losing any fans; her cover was actually pretty good!
