Exciting news for fans of everyone’s favorite R&B artist, Chris Brown! Or rather, exciting news for European fans of everyone’s favorite R&B artist, Chris Brown! The (self-)beleaguered Brown just announced European tour dates for his Carpe Diem fall tour. It kicks off in Oslo, Norway on November 17 and wraps December 12 in Paris.
In unrelated news, Brown recently escaped a bit of probation-related legal trouble after failing a drug test, although he’s not entirely in the clear yet. Virginia Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg let the drug test slide because she never explicitly told him not to do drugs and he has a license for medical marijuana in California. However, Judge Schnegg still had questions about other potential parole violations related to his travel restrictions and community service hours, so Brown is due back in court on November 1.
Speaking of travel restrictions, European fans should send Schnegg a thank you note since she's the one approving Brown's ability leave the country while on parole. And at the very least, he won't need that handy Rx when he hits Amsterdam in December.
