Did Lady Gaga enter the unchartered world of trap-rap last night? While Mother Monster hasn't confirmed that it's actually her on producer DJ White Shadow's latest track, all signs point to the singer entering, and winning, a contest he conceived yesterday on Twitter.

It started with White Shadow, who produced Born This Way's "The Edge of Glory," "Americano" and "Government Hooker," tweeting, "I just made this TRAP s--t, so I am going to put it on my soundcloud. Then I am going to give everyone a couple hrs to make a song." 30 minutes later, he added the following:

White Shadow eventually picked a winner. But when one fan pitch-shifted the winning track from its original pitched-down submission, they discovered that the rapper's actual voice, which proclaims, "Private plane like Lady Gaga/Sip champagne like Lady Gaga," sounded eerily similar to Gaga herself. Gaga and White Shadow aren't confirming or denying either way, but the latter did tweet, "In an unusual twist of fate, the winner has asked not to be announced!"
