Linkin Park First Rock Band to Hit 1 Billion YouTube Views

Linkin Park are the first rock band to hit one billion views on YouTube. Their most popular video, 2009’s "New Divide," reached 131 million hits alone. Altogether, the Los Angeles rap and nu-metal rockers have over three times the views of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the second most popular rock group on YouTube with 327 million views.  Green Day is the third most popular rock group, with 245 million views.

Mike Shinoda and company are in exclusive company; Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Rihanna are the only other musicians in the ten figure YouTube club.
