This week marks the 26th anniversary of original Metallica bassist Cliff Burton's death. To pay tribute to their late bandmate, Metallica is offering a free download of a previously unreleased 1984 concert. The concert, which took place during the Ride the Lightning tour in Toulouse, France and features classics like "Seek and Destroy" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls," is available for download on Metallica's website.

Burton joined Metallica in 1982 and performed on three of their albums: Kill Them All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. He was killed on September 27, 1986 when Metallica's tour bus overturned in Sweden.
