Watch: North Korean Dictator Does "Gangnam Style" Dance
Oh, did you think "Gangnam Style" covers were a thing of the distant past, aka last week? If so, I’m sorry to tell you that you’re wrong, very wrong. Just this weekend two more hit the internet. And they’re pretty good!
First up, the legendary Ohio University marching band tries their hand (and horns, drums, etc) at Psy's mega-hit. And they pretty much kill it. It’s hard to imagine another cover topping this one as far as anything technical is concerned; they actually do the dance while playing their instruments. And they sing. Impressive!
Next up we have another parody, this one called "Kim Jong Style," after Kim Jong-un, the North Korean dictator. It sort of cleverly mocks North Korea’s repression – sweat shops and torture are always good for a laugh, although it's not quite as good as the Hilter/"Gangnam" mashup. And as the "making of" video notes, one of the participants is even Korean!
