Amidst all the American Idol hoopla between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, one question presumably on the minds of everyone involved was, "But what does Stevie Nicks think about this whole situation?"

Rest assured that the Fleetwood Mac singer has now weighed in, telling The Daily of Minaj, “How dare this little girl! … If I had been Mariah I would have walked over to Nicki and strangled her to death right there.” Nicks, a former coach on the show, made the over-the-top, controversial statement about a current pop culture trend while in no way trying to drum up extra promotion for her recently released documentary In Your Dreams.

In case the phrase "strangled her to death" is too vague, Nicks detailed her modus operandi. “I would have killed her in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it,” said the singer.

Surely there has to be at least one sleazy, self-promoting rich douchebag (Joe Francis? Harvey Levin?) who can set up a Nicks-Minaj pay-per-view brawl, right?
