During a recent show at the Soapbox Lounge in Wilmington, North Carolina, Against Me! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace had her teeth knocked out when a fan kicked the mic stand into her face. According to most witness accounts from the show, the incident seems to have been an accident.
From the looks of the comments left by concertgoers on the band's Facebook page, it appears that an errant crowd surfer got a bit too close to the stage, knocking the mic stand into Laura. But on the bright side, the result of the incident might mean a brand new diamond grill for the "Don't Lose Touch" singer.
Laura tweeted after the show:
In other Against Me! news, fans can expect their sixth studio album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues, to sound a bit harder than their last album, 2010's White Crosses. Speaking with MTV Hive, bassist Andrew Seward said about the album, "I don’t know if ‘brutal’ is the right word, but it just sounds really f---ing tough, and good." Who says chicks can't thrash?
