Andre 3000 Kills It on T.I.'s New Song, "Sorry"
In case you were worried that Andre 3000's recent razor endorsement had distracted his attentions from his day job (being the best rapper alive), then fret not: based on Three Stacks' guest spot on T.I.'s new song, "Sorry," the first single of T.I.P.'s forthcoming album Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head, the vegan half of Outkast is as spectacular as ever. The song, as its title suggests, is about regret and features some of Andre's better (recent) lines, such as: "This the type of sh-t that'll make you call your rap partner/ and say I'm sorry I'm awkward/ my fault for f--king up the tour," which, man, doesn't that make you wish Andre had apologized earlier?
As he noted in an interview with Fuse earlier this month, Andre said he long had plans to collaborate with T.I. but knew instantly upon hearing "Sorry" that this was the right time. "As soon as that song came on and I heard those lyrics, it hit home with me," he said. And as for T.I.'s correct assertion that 'Dre "sh-t on me on my own record," Andre isn't buying it. "[T.I. was] just excited we were on the same record," he said.
