How Did David Byrne & St. Vincent Survive Hurricane Sandy in NYC?

The duo tell Stephen Colbert, then perform tracks from their new collabo album, 'Love This Giant'
 /

Hurricane Sandy swept through New York City earlier this week, leaving thousands without power (still...), including David Byrne and St. Vincent. The duo stopped by The Colbert Report Thursday night to talk about their experience and play a few songs from their new collabo album, Love This Giant. It turns out, the two had to foot it out of Manhattan to Brooklyn for hot showers and meals. Stars, they're just like us.

Colbert was typically absurd and hilarious, even asking the two musicians if they wanted to shower with him in his private bathroom. Watch 'em talk about Twitter, Hurricane Sandy and how recording Love This Giant was like dating. Then, of course, check out the duo's excellent performances of "Who" and "Weekend in the Dust" below.

July 22: HyunA Monkeys Around

HyunA, the K-pop star who gained global recognition from co-starring in Psy's "Gangnam Style" video, is teasing her new single "Red" in a very sexy, very odd new photoshoot. The singer poses amid two hunky beefcake wearing humongous, furry monkey heads. HyunA's new music will reportedly showcase a more "mature" side from the singer and while this isn't the look we were necessarily imagining, it does amp up our anticipation.
