Justin Bieber, Whitney Houston Top Bing's Most Searched Musicians
Bing, that search toolbar you don't use that somehow appeared on your browser, released their list of Most Searched Musicians (well, Most Bing-Searched Musicians) on the web. And while the list isn't too shocking—Justin Bieber naturally tops the list—it's an insightful way to see who's organically popular aside from album sales and ephemeral chart positions.
Whitney Houston came in second, most likely due to her train wreck death in February, but seven out of the 10 musicians, including Katy Perry, Selena Gomez and Rihanna, return from last year. But Fun and One Direction came in at 11 and 12, so keep, uh, Binging (is that a verb now?) them, fans.
Bieber, though, lost his No. 1 spot as Most Searched Person of the Year to Kim Kardashian, which I'm sure we'll read about on Kim's timeline daily for the next month.
