Ohhhh, Eerie: Kanye West Releases 'Cruel Winter' Trailer
Q-Tip was on to something when he hinted at a new G.O.O.D. Music project called Cruel Winter, a sequel of sorts to Kanye West and Co's Cruel Summer album-movie release in September. And now Mr. Kimye just released what's reportedly the trailer for the Cruel Winter short film. What do we learn here? Well, that the film appears to be about... good question! There are only beautiful shots of a snow-covered forest accompanying George H.W. Bush's speech about a "law of nations" and a "new world order." Heavy. Then it cuts to a black screen with the message "COMING SOON." No cast, no plot, not even a shot of Kanye.
So that's what we have to work with. It's not much, but it is something, certainly more than enough to pique our interest. And, considering that the Cruel Summer film involved car thieves, parallel dimensions and princesses, you can bet its sequel will be strange and grand in a way that only 'Ye could achieve.
Also, illuminati. For sure.
