Get ready for the return of shambling garage rock! Black Rebel Motorcycle Club just revealed their upcoming seventh album is going to drop in March 2013. And from the tone of their Facebook announcement, it seems that fans are lucky to be getting it at all.

"This album has taken every last ounce of us to bring to life," bassist Robert Levon Been wrote. "If it wasn't for you guys keeping us going, we don't know if it would've ever seen the light of day."

Although the record is still missing a few things—a title and a release date, for starters—the band sound hungry to get back in the game. "Peter, Leah and myself are dying to get out of this studio right now and back into the fight," Been said. "It's taken us a long while getting back on our feet, but the time has come."

BRMC didn't specify what happened that knocked them down in the first place. Maybe touring behind their last album—the bluesy, bleak Beat the Devil's Tattoo—started wearing on their spirits. If so, perhaps they should consider a more upbeat title for this new album, like Love Your Guardian Angel's Dimple. Just a thought.

Tickets for three scant U.S. concert dates are on sale now, only via BRMC's site. Use the promo code "FEAST" to purchase them.

July 22: HyunA Monkeys Around

HyunA, the K-pop star who gained global recognition from co-starring in Psy's "Gangnam Style" video, is teasing her new single "Red" in a very sexy, very odd new photoshoot. The singer poses amid two hunky beefcake wearing humongous, furry monkey heads. HyunA's new music will reportedly showcase a more "mature" side from the singer and while this isn't the look we were necessarily imagining, it does amp up our anticipation.
