Following a dozen U.S. dates last fall, Animal Collective are hitting the road again in North America this March to promote last year's Centipede Hz.

The venerable indie boundary-pushers play Boston on March 7 and work their way through the big cities they missed last fall (Chicago, Denver, Nashville, etc). Electronic music mad scientist Dan Deacon will open for them on all their U.S. dates.

Bonus incentive for going: When Animal Collective hit the road, you can usually expect to hear a few unreleased songs. As AC told us when we sat down with them last summer, they like to road-test tunes before bringing them to the studio. So for a chance to hear what their upcoming 10th album might sound like, you best catch them at one of the dates below.
