So when the Mars Volta frontman Cedrix Bixler-Zavala took to Twitter last night to announce his departure from the group—effectively ending the group's nine-year run—a tear dotted our hardcore-prog-jazz-funk-loving eyes. Normally, we'd pick a few tracks from each album, but we put the band's 2003 debut De-Loused in the Comatorium down in its entirety because it's just that classic.
