Bobby Brown Sentenced to 55 Days in Jail
Following his latest DUI charge, Bobby Brown has been sentenced to 55 days in jail, Reuters reports. Brown was arrested in October in Los Angeles after refusing to take a field sobriety test. He pleaded no contest (an admission of guilt under California law) to driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license.
Along with the nearly two-month sentence, according to E! News, Brown was placed on 48 months of summary probation, ordered to pay a $500 fine plus penalty and complete an 18-month alcohol program.
Earlier in 2012, Brown was arrested for another DUI in Los Angeles. Under a plea agreement, Brown checked himself into a rehabilitation center in August.
